After getting drenched on last years hunt, my wife said she wouldn't go out again unless she had a stand with a roof. Done. I built a nice little shack complete with windows and all. It has been done for a while now but it's so friggin wet that I can't get it to the woods. Rainin again 
I built it on an old wagon so we can move it from one end of the woods to the other depending on where the deer are that year. I buried the atv trying to get out there last week. No way I could get a tractor and wagon out there. It has been raining since! $#^&*&$!!
Good thing we didn't get our tags yet. I don't think we are even going to go. It's supposed to rain all opening weekend anyway. Damn deer will be bedded down and not movin anyway. I'll give my nephew a chance at that big buck...oh yah, I forgot about that nice buck that we saw out there... Anyone have a hovercraft I can borrow?

I had a hovercraft once, I think it might have been a hotwheel. Sorry to hear your having a rough time getting into the huntin season. Come up by me, I didnt see any last year at all but that means im due. And no rain here.... yet I need snow.

Boomer, That's what makes this so crappy. The deer have runways beat down that there isn't even grass anymore. There are buck rubs all over both ends of the woods. Every time I find a rub out there we get a buck. I have a 10 point wallhanger, my nephew got a nice sixer last year. I would really like for my wife to get one. It's supposed to be 20 tonight so I might get up at 2:00 and see if I can get out there on the frost. Doubt it. It's plowed. The soil is just too loose. The clay hills are passable and I think I can even pass the ditch between the hills as it has a clay bottom. The hill sides are sandy and are just like soup though. I worked those fields enough times to know what area to stay out of when it's wet and that's right where I need to go.
