Don't you hate it when your so damn close but yet the little things that hold you back the most. lol. That's sweet you tagged your deer. Perfect weekend to be outdoors.
I'm doing pretty good. I've been taking it real easy lately. Sounds like our weather is going to take a turn for the worse, temp wise. I hate winter when its cold with no snow, Now that bum's me out.
Ya, me too! it doesn't feel near as cold when there is snow on the ground....
Idk, If I remember right you said you have tuned computers b4?
Is tha a hard thing to do? maybe I should get a "Tweecer" or something and make my own tune... I think I need to advance the timming a bit.. It takes off real good after it hits 2500 rpm.. but still get that pesky CEL from time to time. Its never consistent...
I used a software called hp tuners to tune my old gtp, which was a tuner and scanner all in one. I was pretty familiar with fuel trims and timing tables, but I was only familiar the l67's specifics.
Only engine codes that pop up are EGR, and Termactor(smog pump) not responsive.. and a ton of tranny codes because the trans isn't in it anymore.... so my CEL pops on sometimes... Its off always on startup tho.
Maybe I need to find a OBDI 351 MAF 5speed/C6 computer... I don't think one exists tho.
How's the truck run? I'm assuming it has issues driving. I guess I didn't think people had any issues by pulling the smog pump. Is it getting a code for egr not opening? This could throw off the fuel corrections made by the o2 sensor. I guess that assuming obd1 corrects like obd2 vehicles.
EFI is pretty simple really. If the truck runs right, are you mainly just wanting to clear the codes? That's just a matter of cheating the sensors to get the desired signal; usually with resistor's. Which is beyond what I know, since I've never had to find the right one. Most of them situations I've dealt with was a matter of buying a spoof sensor that I was researched already and marketed.
I got to pull a trailer with my new motor already. I love it! Never had to downshift on the way home. With the old combo, that would have never happened! The seams of my radiator are leaking tho, so I'll have to pickup a new one of those. o well. Hope all is well.
