Maybe keep your fingers out of the splitter this time Aaron. I vote for...something cheaper, lol! I wouldn't mind a raptor as long is it is: all black, lifted 4 inches, doesn't have the ridiculous graphic on the side, and...it was a gift, haha! I would love to have a 7.3, but I don't think there are any around that are in decent shape, and at a decent price. I wouldn't be upset with a gas truck. I have found a few f150's around in decent shape under $10k, that are extended cab. That would be probably be the biggest requirement. I will have to talk to USAA, and see what I can do, then go from there. I would LOVE an early 70's high boy extended cab with a 7.3 in it or this would also be awesome
or this!
Thanks Andy. Unfortunately, I just don't have the money to buy any of those options. Don't have the job to sustain them either. It's a rough situation for young folks looking for good jobs and careers right now. Doesn't look like it will be getting any better anytime soon. I can't say I am too excited about my future.
Josiah I hear what you are saying.
I am VERY lucky to have the work that I do.
I am turning some of the work away because I just can't get to it in time.
As of now I am booking next spring.
I always thought thought those '50's trucks looked tough.
Really like the lug traction tires, but might worry about a 55+ year old tank, full of gas in the cab behind the seat.

Surprisingly, those tires are a big reason I like the look of the truck actually. Relocation of the gas tank may be important, haha.
