Good morning all. Nice pictures Jake. I think you picked out a good one for your pickup. 300-6 is probably the longest lived engine in a Ford besides the diesels. Often even less troublesome than the diesels. We have a neighbor who rolled over 300k(original owner) and has just had a few gaskets replaced. I had a 300-6 powered rig after I had a 7.3 IDI, but then I got diesel fever and picked up a '95 7.3 for my main rig.
Happy to have gotten some house cleaning done yesterday.

Good morning Thomas! Yes sir those 300-6 were one of the most reliable motors Ford ever had.
One week from right now I will be getting to the airport to fly to sunny Arizona. And four days from then I will be watching the start of the Nascar race...In person. hehe
