Vin number Question

I have the strangest Vin on a 1978 truck that I have ever seen It's first four ARE X26S. As far as I know they should Be F25S. Every ford truck I have seen starts somewhat Like that. But this one has me baffeled.

Vin number Question

F25 = F250 Reg cab.
F26 = F250 Supercab
X26 = F250 supercab 4x4

S = 400
