Was listening to Car Talk today and they had a caller with a '97 who claimed he had 640K+ on his. Didn't say what engine, he was calling with a clutch problem.

What kind of plugs did you use, hopefully not bosch. Those things just dont work with ford.

UMM how can an 03 still be in the factory being built???

Anyways 2003 X-Cab, 4X2, 3.0, 5 speed with 42K miles on it. Truck was put in a ditch by a drunk driver. Left for over 2 days. Changed oil, trans oil, and put new battery and plugs and wire in. Oh and i changed out the starter along with the pats system. Everything else I've done has been cosmetic.

No they weren't bosch plugs they were OEM autolite plugs with NAPA wires. Today there is now 224,170 miles on it.

217,000 mi on my `90 Ranger. The last 30,000 mi with a built 5.0 under the hood. The body and drivetrain are in VGC. The pre-5.0 miles were put on fairly quickly due to a long commute. The truck has been babied since then.

50,000 mi on my `01 Edge stepside, 3.0, 5 speed. Looks and drives like new. I love the darn thing.

130,000 on my `91 3.0 auto extenda-cab Ranger. It's my winter beater and I use it in the summer to haul stuff I don't want to put in my other trucks. I oil it regularly but it's getting pretty rusty in places where the oil doesn't get to. Could be the last year for the old girl.

Talking .

just approaching 99,000 miles on my 01 edge king cab,4.0 auto,4x4.Only minor problems replaced altenator cause i needed more power at 35,000. All 4 balljoints at about 40,000 cause jumped a Missouri sized pothole responding to a cave rescue that a kid had gotten hurt in,Im in a firedept, changed plugs at 60,000 that was fun,NOT!!!!!!!,and put on a set of BFGs at about 40,000 when the crappy goodyear Rts finally wore out, Additions and Mods, are a superchips programmer, gibson catback, volant coldair intake, throttle body spacer,Bilstien shocks, bullbar with 4 hella off road lights on it,class 4 hitch, diamond plate tool box, tinted the windows with some really dark tint, which the police keep reminding me is illegal!!!!!!!hehehehe, And several blue and red lights for getting round all you slow people out there when im responding to a accident or fire or such, and a 200 watt siren, and of course Mobil 1 5w30 oil changed every 4000 to 5000 miles, and also have mobil 1 in the diffs, transfercase, and have used nothing but mobil 1 expensive oil filters,or motorcraft ones.Ya some people might say Im kinda **** about the maintiance on my truck but if i keep this up it ought to run for another 200,000 no problem,my 91 stang has over 200 thou on it and its still going strong and just bout a new 2008 stang gt LONG LIVE FORD!!!!!!!!!
