My front axel U-bolts are mounted with the end of the U (where nuts thread on) facing down. The rear has the end of the end of the U is facing up. I wonder why they did this? Seems more logical that they would both face up. In case you drive oversomething, like a rock or stump, they wouldnt bend over easily and make it impossible to remove. ???
