Got a transfer case question

What'll cause your transfer case to get stuck in 4 low.The linkage is moving under the truck.The lights in the dash go out when you go back to 2 wheel drive.I'm sure it's an internal problem,just not sure what.Anybody got any suggestions?

what t-case? Im assuming BW?

That's your problem. Swap an NP205 in and you're GOLDEN

A 205 is not always the answer. Personally a 205. Wouldn't work in my 94 without changing my long tube heAders to something different.

My guess would be a oil pump failure.

It might be a combo of things. I know when the oil pump in my BW failed, it did the same thing but when i pulled it apart it broke the fork as a result of the broken pump spinning around and causing more damage. Either way, if you pull it apart, replace the pump as good measure.
