i just purchased a 1991 f250.it is a 2wd long bed supercab.it has a 460 engine and 4:10 rear end.the rating in 1995 was 12500lbs.anybody got any idea on 1991 ratings.the torque was 390 in 1991 and 395 or 400 in 1995.thanx for any info

Out of the 1991 Ford towing guide, the GCWR is 18,500 with the automatic transmission. A hitch pulled trailer weight of 10,000lbs and fifth wheel trailer weight at 12,500. For the standard transmission it is GCWR at 16,500, hitch at 10,000, and fifth wheel at 11,200lbs. This is also considering that the truck has the tow package. It should have front and rear stabilizer bars, hvy duty front springs, super cooling, transmission cooler( auto only), trailer wire harness, and low mount swing away mirrors for the tow package. As a side note, the F-350 does not have a higher rating but is identical to your F-250.
