Ok and I've done the hutch and harpoon mods still having the same problem. I'm going to try cleaning the ebpv tube and change the uvch. Does any one know of a set of used injectors or even a set of stage 1 injectors for sale.

I went with this Billet FPR Housing from Dieselorings.com. An extremely high quality product. I used the black spring, which is the strongest. Fuel pressure at idle was 69 to 70 psi. When installing I noticed the FPR poppet valve seal was worn out. So I got an FPR rebuild kit. The poppet valve seal is special made and an o-ring will not work. FPR Rebuild Kit also available from Dieselorings.com. Now fuel pressure is between 74 and 75 psi at idle and doesn't drop below 65 at WOT. I do have a Walbro GLS 392 fuel pump though.

Edit : Before doing any shimmig or spring replacing in the FPR you need a fuel pressure gauge. I managed to get the weakest spring cocked when installing and the fuel pressure pegged my 100 psi fuel guage. Without a gauge I would have not known.

The ebpv seams to be working fine whoosing at first start up idle and gone at the tap of the brake. Ahhh I'm stumped

weak HPOP maybe?
You need to check your HPOP pressure and fuel rail pressure.

Ok so I'm going to pick up a snap on diagnostic box tomorrow going to do a buzz test, contribution test, glow plug and what else should I do

Some people drain the fuel bowl then fill it with seafoam and do that on each oil change.
You could pull the injectors and rebuild them.

Have you checked to see what your fuel pressure and HPOP pressures are?
