400 compression psi?

tried the search function---got way too confused for my own good.....ran a compression test on my F250 today (400 cid) and got numbers ranging from 95 psi to 125psi. What numbers are they supposed to be? still seems to run strong, other than the timing and carburetor issues i have with it....

The generally accepted rule of thumb is they should all be within 10% of each other. If it
were mine, I'd probably next do a leak down test because
  1. They're not within 10%, and
  2. A reading of 95 PSI is kinda low IMHO.
Readings of around 140 are what I seem to remember my rebuilt 400 having.
