Hey guys, I'm having a hard time finding the right tire to replace my 35 x 12.50 Toyo MT's. I have 20" aftermarket wheels with a nice deep offset. Let me say that I have enjoyed the MT's. They have lasted nearly 50,000 miles and still have another 5,000 in them. They have balanced great and always had decent traction. However, I want something a little more friendly to my lifestyle. Long story short, I don't need a MT so I want to go to an AT that is slightly narrower (the darn Toyo MT is actually closer to 13" wide at the lugs) and about the same height. What I'm finding is that the sizes go from about 35 x 12.50 to quite a bit narrower or shorter but not a whole lot in between. I would love a 35 x 12 tire. I tried mounting the 275/65/R20 from Toyo but man they looked tiny on my deep dish 9" wide wheel. Then the sizes seem to shoot up to 12.50 wide with not much in between.
So... what are you guys running and can you show me some pictures? I want: AT tread with decent quietness and good life. Roughly 35" x 12". I'm open to any brand but do have a budget. (Just ask my wife. )
Thanks
BTW, I have a 3" leveling kit on my truck. 2002 CC LB PSD SRW
Hey check out the BFG All-Terrain KO's...Size LT285/65R20....they are "E" rated, 34.7" tall and tread width is 11.5" on 8.5" rim....I have the same situation you do and will be going to these in about 5k....BTW they are .3" taller than a 35x12.5/20 TOYO....
