TRANNY SHIFTKITS
HAS ANYBODY INSTALLED ANY KIND OF SHIFTKIT OR SHIFT IMPROVER (MECHANICAL OR ELECTRIC) TO AID IN QUICKER SHIFTS WHEN TOWING HEAVY TRAILERS. MY '98 5.4 EXPY EB SHIFTS SLOW FROM 1ST TO 2ND WHEN PULLING.

Railman: Superchip has written into their program a file to improve the sluggish shifting on the Expy. It greatly improves the crispness of the shift through all gears. This was accomplished by raising the fluid pressure 20%. This creates firmer shifts and greatly improves the way the vehicle drives and tows. E-mail me for more info.

Your dealer can simply program the computer to do just about anything you want it to do. they did on mine I have the E40D Trans. They cannot do anything to engine control ,timing,fuel mixture , Mass air flow ETC. there is no need to install shift kits. Will cost around $50.00 Good Luck
