NEED HELP ON EGR COOLER HOSE INSTALL

NEED HELP ON EGR COOLER HOSE INSTALL

JUST FINISHED THEMOSTAST AND FUEL SPRING UPGRADE. NO PROBLEM WITH THEM, THANKS PARTSMAN AND MOBEDICK. NOW TRYING TO INSTALL LITTLE HOSE FROM EGR TO OIL COOLER. HAVE INFO FROM BISMIC. I AM TO IT, HAVE COVER OFF, HOSE CUT. I THINK THE BODY LIFTS OFF, THE PIECE WITH THE HOSE ON IT BUT CANT GET IT OFF. ANY BODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS. THIS IS A BITCH, REAL TIGHT IN THERE

It lifts off but there are two rubber O-rings holding it on real tight. Pull on it like a ***** and it'll come straight up and off.

Thanks highbinder, do you pull it with pliers or your fingers, not much room in there

I used one of these. Yes, it is very tight in there!

yup thats my favorite tool like $3.00 at harbor tools. works for this and egr valves

rotate what, i got the cap off. i guess i have to try to lift the body up and then rotate it to remove it from the hose

I didn't cut my hose before removing it (tip from cheezit) and after looking at the pic I posted, I am thankful I didn't. Now, what tool to jerk the rest of the hose off with?

a long skinny screwdriver and push it out. I hate that stupid hose.

Yea the hose sucks big time. have all ready cut hose, now need to lift out body that hose is connected to. And try to get other half out. thanks for help all will try agin in moirning

You're a better man than me! It would bug the heck out me that little hose was still in there, and me in bed dwelling on it!

Hey Sean , i am david, I have found out its best to just leave it alone. If i keep trying i will break something. In morning i go get little pry bar and try agin. thanks for the help
