Check engine light on ? idling??

Check engine light on ? idling??
So i was sitting on the lease waiting for fitters to prep my pipe today and out of no were my check engine light came on !!!! So the first thing i did was shut off the TRUCK and checked the oil . (it was fine. ) .. does idling hunt these engines ??? if so the the goat might have to come out of retirement ... I hope not.. MY Ford is the nicest truck i ever owned!!!!

Idle has never hurt mine. I got about 19 hours idle time on mine, lots of time spent hooking up 5'er and checking lights, raising jacks.... not to mention the remote start feature that is awsome for cooling off the big cab in the Florida heat.
Better get it checked out.
