79 150 frame components, where?

Trying to track down some frame parts for my truck. Rear upper shock mounts, and a couple spring hangers. Some of the only things on these trucks that just seems horribly designed to me, up facing cups, and mine are rotted to just nothing from all the mud that collects in them. I welded plates on to the hangers, but don't trust them as more than a bandaid.

Where can I find solid replacements? All the trucks around here have the same rust, I'd have no problem getting some from AZ or something though, don't need new.

Thanks, AleX

Shock mounts

1973-79 Ford Truck Rear Upper Shock Mount

Rear spring hangers (not sure if you meant these or the ones at the front of the springs)

Store Locator | NAPA Online

NAPA part number 650-4099

They are listed for 80's and 90's ford pickups but I work there and figured I would give them a try. Fit like a glove.

Blaze, both of those are exactly what I'm asking about (yes, the rear hangers of the rear springs), thanks!

And John in AZ, I notice you're in AZ...

If you have access to some of those parts, I'd love to work out a deal.

LMC trucks has the upper shock mounts. They run about 45 bucks per side. I couldn't put a link to it cuz the site is blocked from Turkey for some reason. They can be kinda rough to find in their search engine, look for rear shocks they should be on that page. Good luck

Steponit, sorry if I made you feel passed over, it was not my intention in any way, and as an explanation, I actually read your post before the others responded, started reading the sponsors list, and got distracted. I then came back later in the night, saw the 2 new responses, and posted above.

I feel bad saying that your help got overlooked, but honestly that's jsut what it was, simple mistake. Sorry, and thanks!

To everyone else though, Tim, I know LMC has them, but I hate buying from them, everything I've ever priced out there has been so expensive, so I usually don't even bother anymore. John, that would be cool. And Dummy, as ALWAYS thankyou for sharing you knowledge. I have a 4X4, so the parts Blaze put up should work (they look exactly like my truck's at least), but I'll keep the info in mind if I go the junkyard route.

Thanks, AleX
