no forward gears

no forward gears
I have a 97 f-150 that I was driving last week and It slipped a little bit but it did drive in gear. After i stopped I backed out of my spot and it goes into reverse fine. It revved up and slammed into gear.its a r470w .the fluid is full and clean but only has reverse.even if i manually try 1,2,or drive. reverse work great,Any Idea's. I thank you for your time

Tranny shop! Or maybe transmission range selector, but the slamming into gear leads me to believe you'll be forking out some dough.
