5spd swap ?
im pickin up a 91 f350 2wd with 116k on the clock .Truck is rotted to death ny winters lol but its got a zf5 in it . My 87 has a 7.3 w/4spd im gonna swap the 7.3 into my truck cuz it has about half the miles but i would like to use the 5spd . what all am i gonna need for the trans or should i sell it and buy a 4x4 zf5 ?

They both have to be either 2wd or 4wd and Diesel ...
The exception is with the F450 ZF5 trucks, they use a 4x4 ZF5 and an emergency brake drum when the Transfer Case mounts.

Yup, but It's not that easy ... It's a rear loaded transmission and has to come completely apart.
To do it correctly it takes special tools and gauges to assemble and set preloads.
If your truck is a 4x4 find a Diesel 4x4 or F450 ZF5.
