Yeah, Tim is my name. My girls nicknamed me eviltim years ago from a cartoon they liked. I am in the Air Force. Was a vehicle maintenance guy for 14 years before they forced me into Intel. I work part time at O'Reillys just to stay around mechanics cuz a greasemonkey like me just doesn't fit into that world. lol

 

Okay, cool. Wish you worked at the O'Reillys out here in Elkhorn, some of the guys there are kind of clueless! I was an aviation structural/hydraulics mech. on A-7E's in the Navy from 85-89.

 

Was this here in Cheyenne (FE Warren AFB) that you did that Pat?

 

Nope. I was stationed at Naval Air Station Lemoore, in California.

 

Ahh ok, Reason I asked was because if you had, you may have worked along side my father in law, he was an Aircraft Mechanic and crew cheif in the USAF for 24 years at FE Warren, he loved it, then he was diagnosed with his parkinsons, and they kinda pushed him out of the service right after that, he still salutes the aircraft that fly overhead whenever he sees them.
