Thanks for the welcome. I am a long time Ford fan, first truck was a 2 wheel drive 76 step side and regretted getting rid of it everyday since I signed the title away. Currently I have pretty much a small fleet of vehicles, but the only 2 I care about are my 79 4x4 step side and my motorcycle. I posted pics of my step side and the donor truck in my gallery feel free to stop by and check them out. Once I return from my deployment I am planning on starting the swap so I will probably be here quite a bit asking for advice. It won't be a one-way street though, like a lot of you have have been a mechanic for a long time and hopefully I can return the advice some too.
Hope to be seeing you guys and gals around.

we will always be here lol.
Gorgeous 79 you've got there.
I had a 77 back in highschool.
Welcome to the chapter, and thank you for your service to the country! Be safe over there!
What kind of motorcycle do you ride?
I tried to escape the Nebraska chapter, but Pat keeps me on a short leash and I only made it 15 miles north of the border... still work in Nebraska, and pay taxes to Nebraska, guess that means I'm stuck here!
Cowboywanabe, right now I am riding a Suzuki TL1000R sport bike. I am hoping to find a R1 or GSXR1000 in the near future.
97nukeford, I am hoping it is in good shape. I haven't actually seen the truck yet. I found it in Wahoo on craigslist and had my wife go pick it up for me. I was only worried about the body and since she has bodyshop experience I trusted her word. Got lucky and it actually runs, she drove it all the way back to Bellevue.
Thanks for all the welcomes to the site
Great bikes Tim! I'm a cruiser guy, but I test rode a Triumph sport bike at a demo event and it was a blast. Can't seem to talk the wife into letting a second bike in the garage. Lol.
welcome to the forum tim,

Welcome Tim - This is a good group of guys but I must tell you - They can be a bit dangerous - especially if beer is involved! Like Rob said - Thanks for your service, we all appriciate it more than words can state.

Just to forewarn you, DO NOT BUY A NON FORD PRODUCT AND SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT, you won't hear the end of it.
thanks for the warm welcome guys, don't worry about hurting my feelings. I have been in the military for quite a while and I can take it. Hell where I come from they only make fun of you if they like you. So I don't mind saying that I own 2 non fords, 3 fords and the suzuki motorcycle that I have already talked about.
