someone please help!!! i think i may be a moron. i have been trying to recalibrate the psom on my 92 f-150, supercab 4x4. i dont think the recalibration would be an issue if i could find the psom terminal. the info i've found says the wire is lb/y, and its located under the instrument panel behind the glove box. i have several questions. 1. is that light blue stripe on yellow wire, or yellow stripe on light blue wire. or is the lb light brown. 2.is the wire in question a wire by itself, with a single terminal, or is it part of a terminal block. 3. what are they calling the glove box? is it that little cubby hole to the right of steering wheel, or are they talking about the storage compartment on the far right of dash board. (thats what i would call the glove box, but its no where near instrument panel). i have been crawling around under my dash board for over an hour i cant find it. like i said i may be a moron, but any help is greatly appreciated.
First of all, Welcome to FTE.
Second, morons don't drive Ford trucks.
Third, do a search on this site for 'psom', sit back and gather info related to your situation. Also, we are info starved, help abundant Ford truck driving resources that are here to try and help. Throw in as much info on your ride as you can and soon you will have feedback.
Bottom of the instrument panel below the center of the glove box, (just behind the glove box pivot/hinge point), has "PSOM" printed on the connector in white lettering. Held in place with a plastic retainer.
