To your question: Yes, but you will have a heck of a time. You will be looking at firewall and radiator issues, and will be on your own for mounts, probably oil pan, cross members, and a host of other items.

Earlier in this thread the suggestion was the OHV 4.0. That swap will work with factory parts and no smoke wrench action on the firewall, and no split or relocated radiator.
