390 valve clearances

390 valve clearances
After some homework here I am still a little unsure what the valve clearances should be.
I saw a spec for .020" which seems sloppy to me, unless that was for a hot engine. Also saw the numbers .015"-.017" mentioned with no respect to hot or cold. I have a Isky cam with solid lifters and Isky rockers. I do not have any specs to the cam as Isky discontinued it many many moons ago. When I put it together I seem to remember .015" on the engine stand.
I will be checking the clearances on a warm motor as I will be driving to a friends shop. Any info will help, thanks!
