New sensor list for new-used engine
Before I throw my new/used 5.4L in I am replacing sensors and trouble areas. So far Spark plugs, IAC, EGR, belt tensioner, idler pullies and water pump are on the list. It will never be as easy as replacing these things when the engine is sitting on a pallet so what else is there. It is a '02 built in 11/01 with 120K miles. I am tempted to put a new set of COP's on, it appears the #1 cylinder has a newer COP but the rest are OEM. I've got 7 on my old engine that have less than 20K miles on them that might get swapped over. It is getting a set of long tube headers and I haven't made my mind up on cat's yet. What else am I missing?
