i got a set of very new 32 by 11.5 inch bf goodrich all terrian tires mounted on factory aluminum rims for my 92 f150 2wd. how bad should i expect these to rub? the truck sits pretty level since i have spring helpers in the front.

Well I hope you aren't talking about the little spacers in between the coils but anyway I have the cc844 coil springs in the front so my truck sits level and the only time my 32x11.5s rub is when I hit full lock turning.

If you have leveling springs or F250 springs in the front it should work ok. If you have those twist in things get them out of there immediately.

Even with 31s the tires will still rub the radius arms at full lock.

i put on the tires yesterday and they didnt rub anything except for the bumper. i took the front bumper off and im going to make some spacers for it. otherwise, they worked out really well.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

here is a pic i took after i put the set on. i used my phone and it was starting to get cloudy out, so the pic kind of sucks. my front bumper is also off. i got this set for 190 bucks which is very cheap. well atleast for around here. the rims still need a good cleaning.

Those are not factory alum rims. They are at least 8" wide

X2.. but I'd say they're 10" considering how little tire bulge there is. Either way it seems you stumbled upon the perfect wheel for those tires on your truck, any chance you could pop one off again and measure the backspacing? That's the distance from the inside lip of the rim to the hub mounting surface.

yeah i would say those are 10" wide, and with that kind of backspacing, they might not rub on the suspension parts. but it could still hit either the fender or the bumper in the front.

That worked out pretty good. I'd say that they are 15x10 too, at least 15x8. The definitely do not have the factory offset and stick out more.

what have you guys done to make the bumper mount farther up, away from the tires? i was gonna stack up some washers but i think i am going to run out of threads on the bolts that stick out of the bumper.
