Kevin I had the hood hinge holes marked because Im welding in new threaded inserts. I would like to have a front tilt hood like yours. Are you making the kits???
JHooch I got my harness from the Detail Zone. Its a little pricey but appears to be very straight forward and good quality. The time it takes to strip out the uneeded and shorten or lengthen the stock harness is not worth it IMO. Talk with Scott and he will treat you right.

I hope to be able to make the hood kits. I have been so busy with work that I haven't had time to find a water jet cutter to get me pricing on making the parts for me. My work usually slows down after Christmas so hopefully I can get this worked out then if not before.

I know someone down here in tucson, they are doing the seat brackets for me will let ya know how they turn out. the shop has a laser to cut with
A little more progress. The drip rails are gone and the bed is coming along well. I have cherry wood for the bed and will pick it up soon. Im waiting on the fuel filler door, wiper kit, seat and foam and a few other parts. Im considering angle chopping the roof to get it down about 3/4 inches in the front. Comments or suggestions welcome.

Go for it, only pitfall is the taper in and back as it will mess up the windshield. You may need to split the roof and taper, adding a pie section and rework the front roof line. Slicks are a 100% Beoutch to chop due to the tapers as it moves in four directions at one time. Only reason i have not tried one yet.
Update on my progress. Got the AC mocked up and the new defrost vents installed. Still rough fitting panels and getting all the lines correct. Got a early 90s F150 seat modded to fit and modified the inner fenders. They fit really nice around the engine. I plan to eliminate the marker lights in the 62 grill and extend the grill bar out and rechrome. Im using a van rear bumper in the front.
This truck is lookin' great! I gotta have a shortbed uni someday!
Did you decide not to try to angle the front of the roof? Looks like that would be a lot of work for little reward. I like it the way it is.
Are you removing the wing vents, too?
I'm curious to see the bumper you're putting on the front.
Great work. Keep the pics coming! Thanks.
Randy
Thanks Randy for the comments. Im still undecided on the roof chop. I do plan to eliminate the wing windows and already have the glass and kit. I have a local waterjet owner that can cut the glass for me and if I do chop it Im only planning a subtle chop, probably 2 in the rear and 3 in the front. Ill get some more pictures up as we have got more done in the last couple of weeks.
A few more pics. Hoping to get one of Kevin's hood kits and get rid of the hood hinges. The hinges are new and junk, caution if you are thinking of buying some. Welded some round stock over the doors where i had shaved the drip rails. I think it will look good once its bodyworked in. The tailgate and tag box is almost complete. The tailgate will have power actuators to operate the latches. The steps turned out nice. They were not as rusty as I thought. The plasma cutter made quick work of the door inards and the one piece window kits look nice. You can see in one of the pics where I added a piece of 3/8 flat stock to the top of the fender lip to clean up the hood/cowl and fender gap.
Does the 3/8" piece run all the way back to the door and will you run it across the front also? How does it look with the hood shut? Neat idea.
The 3/8" stock does run the entire length of the hood and fenders. Ill have to get an updated picture. We also radiused it where the fender and upper valance meet and it looks nice. With the hood closed the tighter gap better compliments the body line IMO. Ill get some more pics soon. I have been working on customizing the grille and it is slow go.
