ECT??? Thermostat

Well replaced it today.. Working correctly now... But looking at the old one.. It appeared closed and opened up when boiled so let it cool and tried to run water through it... even closed and cold water poured through it like it was opened... Anyone else seen something like this like the thermostat was seating in the housing.. Strange

Also wanted to mention I have an 05 and there were no fuel lines in the way.. They were routed under the housing and also I was able to lift and put the bracket to the side without disconnecting the ebp sensor...

What is your ECT now that you have replaced you Tstat. I am thinking of doing mine as I only see ECt unloaded in the city at 185*. I was gonna do the updates FP spring while I am at it.
