No power / then died .. Please help

Ok so i noticed my truck was acting weird after a while of driving, im not even sure whats going on. When step on the gas it wont do anything, it will move with very little power " like 5mph" and then it will lose all the power and died. If i let it sit for a few minutes and crank it will start if i give a little gas but it will act the same way with no power at all then die.

2000 Ford F450 - diesel 7.3 ... ideas ?

I'm sure you will have codes stored. Get them read so we don't have to guess on what is going on. Let us know what you get.

the only computer i have is that ACTRON " AUTO SCANNER PLUS CP9180 "...

would that work ?

it will pull some codes...not all of them. You could give it a shot and see what it says

well no codes at all. Engine light will come on but then go off after the truck starts.
