I asked about differntial options and didnt get much feed back. Mine is open so im still pretty much 2wd but ill have one front and one rear spinning! I want go test drive a locker first might be too much, ill probably end up witha posi
In my 2010 F350 six Wheeler I had a ARB installed can't stand it. I wish I had just left the limited slip rear end and not played around. It's great when you're in deep mud or climbing into something, on the open highway it's just an open differential it sucks. If I could do it again, I should've went with a true track limited slip . The ride to most job sites in the wintertime is ice covered roads were I wish I had my old rear end back , don't drive with the differential lock above 30 mph, unless you like doing donuts found out the hard way ;-). I'm actually debating whether I'm going to have the system removed compressor and all, or just try to make it three more years before I trade the truck. Oh and one more downside you have to be standing still to engage or below 10 mph, I usually engage while I'm stopped as advice of my mechanic.

TruTrac is a great option, I love mine. I'd like to find out what king of electric locker they are using as an option in the 2011 models, last I checked they didn't make the E-locker for the 10.5 axle.
About your comment on using the ARB above 30mph. REally, on ice you want an open differential for the best safety/stability. A LS or locker only helps you on ice until the tires break loose, so you can accelerate a little faster is all. With a locker though, once they break loose your rear end is completely loose whereas an open diff one tire always stays connected with the road surface (usually).
