6.0 Up pipe
Can I get an up pipe(or y pipe not sure which) from any place other than Ford? I'm getting an awful exhaust smell when I open the door, low power and an intermittant whistle under load. (sounds like someone blowing over the end of a bottle) I am looking for alternatives to stock, and have heard some discussion about aftermarket up/Y pipes but never of any sources. It must be a stock fit as I still have my EGR valve and cooler. Any help would be appreciated.

If you do not want to delete the egr system or block it off completely, you can also partially block the exhaust flow and you will not have any issues with warranty or a smog station.
Weld a washer on the up-pipe side tube that feeds the egr cooler, and cut the up-pipe scoop that forces air into the cooler.

its going to be from either the y-pipe or the adapter pipe that bolts to the y-pipe.
also 03/04 pipes that had the round cooler are a little different and wont work on a 04.25 and up that came oe with a square cooler.

It's hard to say without looking, but typically it's the up pipe. Mine is for the square cooler, which is the late model. You should be able to get under the truck and see black soot from where it's leaking. I'll send you a PM or post a message for you on the price.

Update: While I had the intake off doing an oil cooler replacement this past week, I discovered the MAP sensor hose was severely cracked where I goes onto the intake manifold. Could this be where I was getting the diesel fume smell from?
(I know I picked up another 2 lbs of boost at WOT since I repaired it.)
