Got my brake booster and master cylinder changed out. Flushed the system and got rid of all the old black fluid.

Looks just like mine. My new is still in the box waiting on the weather. I wasn't going to flush the whole system... do you think it was worth it?

Absolutely. Aside from the fact that it looked like the fluid had never been flushed since it was almost black, I had air come out at each wheel after installing the master cylinder.

Thumbs up

Drained the T-18 and refilled with synthetic gear oil. It's very smooth now.

amazingly the last thing I did today was to slide the drain pan under the truck for in the morning when I drain the t-18 and the transfer case. What exactly did you put in yours?

I used O'Reillys brand synthetic gear oil, 75w90. It was about $12 a quart.

Hey Dave,

I just put it in the tranny yesterday, but I've got a couple hundred miles on it already. No problems so far

I have not changed the diff yet, but I probably will in a month or so.

The wife helped me pull the seat out of the truck tonight while my son Hunter played with his truck in the bed. I got my seat cover installed minus the sides since they shorted me a couple strings. Looks pretty good though.

I also found the original build sheet under the seat. Took our time and removed it in as few pieces as possible. My wife is going to order some archival stuff and we are going to piece it back together and save it.

Finally pulled the original 1980 front gas tank to replace it with an EFI tank and pump/sending unit. I've been running off the back tank all these years having to fill it from under the back of the fender. The pump finally went out because of too much moisture in the tank (probably because of the holes in the bed)

Build a box to house a stereo and speakers to sit on floor in front of seat. Left some room for cup holder or tray.

Also scored a Allison 2 pc seat cover on ebay. Pretty good quality. From the 90s I would guess.
