Can anyone decode my vin #
I just bought a 1999 E-350 cube van and i need to find out which tranny it has. it has a 5.4L in it. my vin is 1FDWE37L1XHB33211 If someone can help me i would really appreciate it. tranny is slipping bad but i got a smoking deal on it.

I noticed the tech folder doesn't have H listed for the factory code (or anything van related for that matter). H is Lorain Ohio

Wow, it says you have a 296 inch wheel base. Is it really that long of a van??

Should be. I know the trucks had them, the van's should too.

I think only the dealer can tell you. You should be able to check the sticker on the drivers side door or pillar and get the trans code. For the trucks E or 9 is the code for the 4R100. I'll see if I can find the one for the E series.

The 44E order code is the same as my Excursion, so yes it's the 4r100.

and i was thinking about the wheelbase and there is no way it 24 ft....LOL i think something is wrong there.
