Door ajar

I have a 2002 F250 7.3 diesel 4x4 and when I close the drivers door the door ajar light on the dash stays on and the interior lights stay on. I had to remove the interior light bulbs so that I could drive at night and so that my batteries would not drain. Any thoughts.

Get some WD-40 or PB Blaster and spray the door latches,it should take care of it.
