New Thread: Looking for help

I have an '88 F-250. It quits when it warms up and will not start again until it cools off. I have replaced the distributor assembly, wires and plugs. I have not changed the main coil and it is not the T-stat. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

The first thing you need is a code reader. I think mine cost me about $30. Pull the codes and see what your truck has to tell you.

It is customary to replace the TFI module (ICM) at the same time as the PIP (stator) is replaced. See Link: http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=25

X2, I think it sounds like a TFI module. Whatever you do, make sure that the replacement TFI (if you get one) is the same color as the one you took out. If you swap between black & gray, you will have issues.
