73 Hiboy Misc wiring problems

So i installed a wiring harness from a wrecked 73 2wd that had a 360/390 auto with a/c my truck is a 73 390 4spd 4x4 no a/c. My turn signals and hazards arent working and my turn signal arm seems loose or broken. I replaced the fuse and the flashers. what else should I check or replace?

My breaklights arent coming on, I have a couple different stop light switches for the break pedal. do these wires run independently to the back of the truck? Yes im getting power to the stop light switch, 12 volts.

Im probably going to have to run my own wiring for the backup light/switch off the tranny. any diagrams or wire colors that can help me do this properly?

What color is the wire for the sending unit from the fuel tank and is there a diagram for that as well?

You should have power to one side of the turn flasher unit. You said you have 12v on one side of the brake switch.

Both of the brake signal and the flasher signal run into the turnsignal switch. The switch mixes these signals together because there are not separate wires going to the rear. The left brake and the left turn are one wire, and the right brake and the right turn are another wire.

The best way to troubleshoot this is make sure the signal lever is in the center, and then push the brake pedal down. At the switch you should have 12v on the wire coming in from the pedal switch, and you should have 12v on both wires that run to the rear. If you don't, the turnsignal switch is bad.

If you need a diagram to figure out the wiring, FORDification.com - The 1967-1972 Ford Pickup Resource has some diagrams for a 73.
