Fuel pickup screen

I heard you IDI guys had a good solution to the broken fuel pickup screen/umbrella problem. I have a busted one in the rear and I know it's only a matter of time before the front goes too.

psssst, the search button works wonders!

use a piece of rubber fuel hose, and cut a notch out of the bottom so that it can't suck itself to the bottom of the tank.

So did starting a thread... I know there are threads on here for it. I can never seem to find anything I need when searching though. Why? I dunno.

Thanks though. Sounds like that should work nicely. Are there any big downfalls to doing it this way?

I haven't had any issues with mine this way yet. Peace of mind knowing I'm not sucking up pieces of plastic anymore...
