Can someone help me with the differences in the bodys of the 1965 4X4 F100 to the 4X2? I know the boxes are different and that the 4X4 doesn't have the Twin I Beam suspension but are the cab parts the same? I haven't been able to find much for aftermarket parts on the 4X4 and am leery to order any 4X2 parts because they may not match. I read somewhere that the 4X4 has bigger wheel openings. I also need new front cab mounts and can't seem to find any in the 1965 version. Any help would be appreciated.
The main differences in the F100 4x4's are mainly the radiator support & the front valance between the bumper & grille if memory serves.
The fenders should be the same. Cab mounts should be the same too.
The front suspension & frame is different (of course).
The 3/4 ton & up trucks had bigger wheel openings, different inner fenders, cab & other stuff I'm forgetting.
