Transmission Question
I have moved out to the berbs, 20 miles one way stop and go traffic. I have noticed driving in traffic it helps when I have it in Tow-haul mode unloaded. Will it hurt the transmission driving like that everyday? Should I change the fluid more often? Thanks for your help.

I would suspect, a description of the problem would likely result

Running in tow/haul mode won't hurt a thing other than possibly the fuel economy. Changing trans fluid more often wouldn't hurt. I do about half city, half highway and I drain and refill every 20k.

Sorry, though my sig was on there, Is a 2005 XLT F250 6.0l, No Mods. No problems with the tranny. It seems to help in stop and go traffic because it stays in gear longer and I don’t have to ride the breaks as much, just wanted to know if it would damage the transmission driving like that every day. I have went through Bismic’s transmission thread a lot of good info there but didn’t find the answer.
