does any body know about a 1972 ford f100 sport custom short wide i have one but was told that it wasnt a 72

I believe there are wide short beds from about 1960 on to 2011.

Look to the vin to see whan it was built. that will tell you if it was a 72 or ? The Vin Never lies.
