Got a prob..

Well got home from work today, and pressed my e-brake on , and *snap* . There goes my e-brake. Right now its stuck on, and in the linkage that i can see under the truck , i cant find any way to release the cable. So right now i have a single wire going into a double wire, and then to each rear tire. A service pack sticker is on one of the cables. Anyways, can anyone help me out here. I'm minimal with tools right now. And have to make it to work tomorrow morn..=0(.. I have a 96 f150 4x4.... Remember im minimal in the tool department right now. And quite green with the truck.

Just hold the release handle and pull the pedal back up. Once the tension is off the cable, it releases. If there's no tension on the 3 cables under the truck, then the brake ISN'T on - it's somehow separated from the pedal, probably right where it attaches inside.
