Need some help before inspection

Well the 76 highboy is about road ready but needs some things before inspection. I have some side marker lights that dont work. Ive messed around with them before and with a new bulb didnt work so im thinking it has to be the socket? Also the back up lights dont work, well because there not hooked up because i cant find the plug that goes into the tranny. Maybe after looking at a diagram i can hopefully find it. Wheres it come from? Also i need a horn. It looked like NAPA has a kit with the switch and wire to the horn. Does it just need a wire from the horn to battery, and wire from horn to switch and grounded? Lastly parking brake. It works but wont stay down, it just comes straight up, any idea on what part needs to be replaced? Thanks for any help. Im going to try to get this stuff fixed this weekend but if you can think of anything that will help, let me know.

Side Markers- I would try and replace the sockets and if that is not the problem I would check its connecter on the inner fender and make sure it is getting power out there.
Back up lights- My tranny is manual and its plug for its reverse switch is on the top driver side of the transmission. The connector should come from the group of wires on the inside of the frame on the driver side.
Horn- If my memory is correct there should be a wire going to a relay giving it power, a wire coming from the steering wheel button to kick the relay and a wire going from the relay to the horn to turn it on. The horn will ground through the bolt holding it.
Parking Brake- It is not too bad to replace. There are two nuts on the firewall holding it and one bolt below the dash. Good luck, hope you get it on the road soon.

650 hit them all on the head with his reply.
Back up lights-If it is an automatice transmission then the reverse switch/back up switch is incorperated in the nuetral saftey switch on the steering column. I know there is a really good picture in one of the newer posts here. If I can find it again I will add a link to it.

here is a link to a post that shows 2 really good pictures of the pre 77 switch. 77 and later is on the side of the transmission.

The NSS is located on the column thru 1977. The switch is the same 1967/77 F100/350: C7TZ7A247A (Motorcraft SW600).

1978/79, the NSS is located on the transmission.

The C6 switch (D8TZ7A247A-Motorcraft SW1489) is different than the one for the C4 (D8TZ7A247B-Motorcraft SW1491).

NumberDummy is absolutely correct on the years, I was thinking 78 and for some reason I typed 77. In the future, I will proof read my post closer before submitting.

Manual or auto trans? That makes a difference where the back up switch is located on a 1976. On an auto its on the column like mentioned above.
I'm assuming manual since you said you can't find the plug that goes into the transmission. Its a long harness that comes from near the master cylinder and it normally on a bracket that is bolted to one of the bell housing bolts. These are the only wires contained in this harness. I can try to get you pics from my 1977 4-speed tomorrow if you cant find it.
