352 firing problem

352 firing problem

i have a 66 f100 with 352. I am having a problem with the #1 and 6 cylinders not firing clean. can anyone help with this?

When was the last time you gave it a tune up? do they just not fire at all or is it weak? whats the problem?

Spark plug gap, wires, rotor cap. Valve issue? Compression ok?

Is there oil or fuel on the plugs when you remove them?

What is the cranking compression? If that drops under 110psi I will not run very well. What is the compression difference between 1 6 and the others that are running better?

Vacuum Leak?

Could be you have some flat lobes on the cam too. Just pulled one apart yesterday with that issue.

How many miles on this engine?

What is the dwell reading if still running points? Point contact dirty or points bad? Plug wires ok?

Does the engine misfire at idle or under load?
