Is it a good deal?

I have the opportunity to buy a 2004 F-250 Lariat FX4. Its got 115000 miles and has a very straight body. From what I can tell it has never been abused. The truck is completely stock. I can probably get it for $11500.

2004 Ford F-250 Lariat FX4 Off Road

What im asking is, is it a good deal or should i pass?

That sounds pretty cheap for an 04 lariat but if it has the 5.4 and 115k then that isnt too bad. Check it out well and ask your dealer for an oasis report to see if any warranty work was done to it.

Great advice, no matter which engine it has.

I bought an 03 F250 XLT V10 Fx4 supercab long bed with 115xxx for $5600...granted, I now have to put new ball joints and plugs in...but it runs good (other than the misfire right now and hopefully that fixes the O/D light flash problem lol). Talk them down a little more and you got yourself a deal.

From the pics, I think it looks good. I would say buy it, and nine out of ten times, you can get the seller down from their asking price. Good luck.

Sounds like a good deal, I would go for it.

Off topic, but I like the name.
I have bought and sold a quit a few P71 CVs.
Right now I have a 99 and two 05s.

I had an 03 and now have an 04. Are you a member of crownvic.net? If not you need to join, if so, what is your username?

I need to know which engine. If it's a gasser I'd say that's a little high, even for the 6.8L V10. But if that's a diesel, it sounds like a pretty good deal.

UPDATE: Okay, I just saw the link to the actual vehicle. It's a 5.4L, right? I personally think it's a little high but it's still a better price than most of the used car lots here in Central WV.

Last edited by fordpstroke11; 10-20-2010 at 10:08 PM. Reason: I asked earlier if the truck was a diesel or gas. Then I found out that it was a gas so I had to edit to give my opinion....
