OK, methinks we all decided on Springfield on the 23rd.

When / Where?

Rich suggested Dickerson park off I44.

I suggested noon.

Does that work for everybody?

Who wants to bring what?

Generally, someone (Rich ) fires up a grill, and cooks whatever we bring...

Any ideas? Thoughts? Who's coming???

(OK, I KNOW it was supposed to be 3.0...too many ***** in the air right now...)

 

There's a chance I may be able to go afterall. My friend that I was going camping with has to work Saturday, and it's supposed to rain. So there's really no reason for me to stay down there with a bunch of people I barely know.
I have no idea what I'll be able to bring, maybe what's left of the camping food .

 

Noon at Dickerson Park, ok. We will be there early to secure the pavilion.
Yes I will fire up the grill and bring enough stuff to make a proper fire.
And bring the hardware to sling around what ever anyone wants to put on there.
And we wil be in Ol Blue yahoo.
Penny and I will make 2 for the party.

A vary good friends father passed away monday, so I'm going up for the funeral friday. Most likely be a one day trip. Tim has a girlfriend now, they spend every saturday together (under adult supervision) so I'm not sure about him. He get to take the driving test today, see how that goes. Scares me, him being out, seen too many things between the fire department, and I drove a wrecker for awhile.
I'll bring burger patties, and some hot dogs.

Rich, I was planning on driving it. It's been a couple of weeks since I drove it last.
I still don't know what I'll bring, it looks like everything has been spoken for already. So I'll bring plates agin.

I'll ask Shari, but I pretty much know that answer. She still works from her, for herself and is swampped. But that's a good thing since I'm not sure what to do when/if I grow up again.
Gonna try my hand at possible polishing some wheels on Ka'Bluey. See what happens. Tim did some polishing.... Yeah one BIG spot on ONE wheel. See if I can get them to match....

Ok folks we already have in Ol Blue
1. Charcoal and fluid
2. 3 folding chairs (there are picnic tables under the pavilion)
3. In fridge but in the truck tomorrow am, 24 pack of dogs and buns
4. Grilling hardware
5. Napkins and plastic eating hardware
6. Portable radio w/cd player

The location is right off I44 the Hwy 13/Bolivar/Kansas Expressway exit. On north side of hwy 1st light turn right, Come and Go store across from it.

1 mile down on the left, next to the Dickerson Park Zoo.

Any one get lost call 334-447-0048 my cell#, we will be there around 10:30 or 11:00 rain or shine, hope for shine.

Ok folks its time to get to a meeting, come on. Terry are you coming down 7/13 hwy, or 71 S to I44E ?

If you are coming down Hwy 13 it will be the light before you cross I44, Come and Go will be on your right and Lowe's also.

Meaning take a left to the fair grounds, sorry do not know the road name, see ya.
