Boost problems

Guys I think I'm having a boost problem. There are no leaks but i'm wondering if my up-pipes are dicked.

The situation is like going up a hill in 6th gear with my foot on the boards at say.... 1500-1800rpm she only builds like 10psi. I can only hit max boost above 2500. Once i hit 2500 rpm it's like somebody kicked the truck in the *** and it boogies.

How do I get moar boost? I don't see any up-pipe leaks and i don't hear any either. Turbo has no shaft play and fins look good. ?????

Can someone just take a video of their truck in top gear start at like 1200rpm and boot it too like 2000 so i can see whats supposed to happen. Maybe a run in a lower gear showing rpm vs boost would be helpful as well. Thanks!!!

You are only going to build max boost at higher rpm's. Anyway here is a bump for you.

Get it to 1800 rpm and then stomp it and run what ever you would normally run.
If you can have someone record the boost gauge and post it if you are able.

thank you so much man, that is exactly the type of video i was looking for... i'm going to do the EXACT same thing in my truck. I'll video and post back. It looked like you started at about 1800rpm maybe around 55mph and ended at 75mph @ full boost around 2200rpm? I also assume that was top gear?

Thanks again!!! rep sent!

Take a peek man... I only got to 21-22psi @ 75. Apparently my HTC EVO isn't that great at taking video, sorry for king blurrycam.

Started at about 1600 rpm, ended at 2200 rpm. I know it's hard to see what is going on and yes, that was in 5th gear, I didn't shift, just left it in the drive gear.

But yea, looks like you're boosting just fine. At least from what I can see in the video. You can double check your up-pipes for soot just to be sure you don't have leaks, but seems like it's fine to me.
