I would check to see if the Ford Logo is free to use. They just might get upset and sue.
They like for you to pay for it's use . Great idea though. Just my .02

Looks good bryce! I'm lovin' that last design. Of course, I would like the 7.3 on there as well, but as you said, Jim, tooling and marketability. I'd be curious what the cost would be for a set as well. Might have to pick some up.

I dont know if you have a supplier yet to get these made but I found this after a quick search with a 4 color process if necessary. Dont know anything about minimums or any of that stuff just a suggestion. Looks like they make custom flaps for lots of big truck companies with several sizes available. They are local to Tualatin Oregon.

Here is the link www.jameskingco.com/custom_mud_flaps.php

As it turns out you have to be a Ford or International authorized dealer to have any type of merchandise made with their logos, so those designs are out since I am not for either. The flap people need authorization so it didn't even get to Ford or International.

As far as I know we could do the one with just Power Stroke Diesel across the bottom.
I'm looking into some options there.

Does any one no if "POWER STROKE" is a patented logo for Ford?
I would assume that Super Duty is.

What if you moved power stroke diesel up to the center or slightly below center and left room at the bottom if guys wanna install an aluminum or stainless insert down there?

I hope that Powerstroke isn't patented. Then I would be able to get to work on another design. Anyone know?

I am by no means positive one way or the other but I would think as long as you aren't using an exact copy of the logo it wouldn't be an issue. As in the case of the Ford oval, or International diamond, or even an exact copy of the Powerstroke badge, that I'm sure is tademarked. But just creating a Power Stroke Diesel design on your own I would think should be legal.

Dead project.
Too many headaches trying to use logos/names like Ford and Power Stroke.
And not enough guys want the big flaps that actually have the room for the names anyway...

Even 18" x 24" is too big for the majority of pick-ups...
