I've got some 4" hangers that i'm not going to be using because i've lined up a test for another spring company. These are custom hangers that can't be seen anywhere else, somewhat of a prototype. They have been chromed. Actually they are on one other truck i believe.....
hahaha,,,,that's suppose to be a secret.....ORU is trying to get some spring companies to build springs to their specs.....we'll have to wait and see what happens....it's the spring co. that i refered to you as an alternative to National.
You know, when I called them and asked how many leafs per pack, I asked if they could make them with 12 as you suggested. He said "oh you mean like Nationals" I said yep, no problem just a little bit more cash. Still cheaper than National though.
i wouldn't recommend it on your psd!!! they were built to the weight of a V10....a PSD is like 2000 pounds heavier....it would probably sag to the point where the shakle would fold up and rest on the frame rail..
yup,,,there are a few of us that jump back and forth.... this site gives more technical info,,, more for the TRUCK guys....the other site has state chapters where you get to have get togethers and meet everyone... kind of like a tupperware party..(is that how's its spelled,,,too long ago)...LOL
DCS i got the V10 for one specific reason......i knew that i was gonna run a biased ply tire.... biased ply tires were never intended to hold up a truck this heavy...there have been a few blow-out cases....i didn't want to chance the extra weight with how high i planed on going....

Yeah, I was looking at the Hawgs myself until I saw the weight rating on them looked a little too low for the PSD. That's why I'm excited with the news the PJs are supposed to come out with a 40" radial and hopefully they come for a 16" or 16.5" rim.
Hey Rollnx, did i catch you say you might get ride of your springs, i may have misunderstood, but if you deciede to get ride of rear springs(14"ers?) i would be interested, as i run a skyjacker 8" spring on their 5" block right now, send me an email or respond back here, thanks.
