Angry Brake Problems

I have a 99 F250 CC SB and the galvanized brake line running to the back brakes rusted out. I first noticed the ABS and Brake light on so I checked and had no fluid. I replaced fluid and took the truck to my local mechanic to get checked. He said I was very lucky to have any brakes at all. The brake lines are now Galvanized and had rusted apart. I had the brake line replaced but I am now worried what else might be rusted. Does anyone know of any other parts I need to check?

I bought the truck used and it now has 85K miles.

Thanks in advance.

Brake Problems

Never had a problem w/ rust. Did have a recall notice on the brake line for the left rear tire only i believe. The brake line for the right rear in in the back of the tire. It seemed to be susceptilbe to getting hit due to being in front of the tire. Dealer put a shield on in front of the brake line to protect against rocks or debrs hitting it.

I meant axle instead of tires.
