idle speed
Hey ford fans. Anyone out there know what my 68 F250 390 pickup should be idling at?. There is no more stickers anywhere! I am trying to set the timing just right, and fine tune the 670 s. avenger. Am installing a tach now, so i can set the timing. Then idle with in gear, p.b. on etc. Thank You if anyone can help. Guy PS That is rpm idle speed.

hey man, i dont know for sure but wen i got my motor put in my shop teacher said it was supposed to idle around 800 rpms, but thats just what hee said idk if thats what the factory made it, it sounds nice like that if u have a big cam in it. lol
