Power windows
First I want to say hello to everyone, this is my first time on a Ford forum, My name is Eli and from Boston, Ma. This question is for my mom's Explorer, I drive a 05 Pontiac grand am gt1.
The other day it was raining and pretty dark out, so my mother went to put on her rear winsheild wiper and it didnt work, and all the windows and the sun roof do not work and the lamp lights overhead do not work either. So i took a look at the fuse box on the driver side and there was no blown fuse. Please if anyone can help me out that would be great. I am part of a pontiac forum so I know about the SEARCH button
, but i really didnt find anything that would help me out. Thanks,
ELI
This forum is different than the GM forum, we dont utilize crystal *****.
If you are looking for an intelligent answer, you must give up the details of the vehicle, like yr, model... mom's Explorer just doesn't cut it...!
Thanks,
ELI
Common to the power windows and the courtesy lights is fuse 4 (30A maxi) in the Power Distribution Box, but that fuse is not shared with the rear wiper.
I should add that these fuse mappings are from the 1998 factory service manual which I would expect to be the same as your 1997, but I don't guarantee it.
